“According to the news agency of the Office of the Performing Arts, a statue of the esteemed playwright Akbar Radi has been erected by Tehran Municipality on Behesht Street and the pedestrian walkway of Sanglaj Theater.
This statue was created by Mahmoud Pournasri Nejad and is made of glazed concrete.
Sanglaj Theater, known as the oldest theatre in Tehran with its performance of Iranian and national works, has hosted numerous plays written by the late Akbar Radi, a renowned Iranian playwright, over the decades.”
