The eight-year national Defense was a multifaceted conflict with many unexplored aspects, particularly its human and emotional dimensions. This memorial monument artistically captures these dimensions, employing mathematical and numerical symbolism. Inspired by Gilan local architecture, the eight-meter height symbolizes the war’s duration. The seven-meter altar with seven steps represents a spiritual journey. The figures—the hopeful warrior, the worried boy, and the longing mother—embody the emotional spectrum of those involved. The design intertwines faith, belief, emotion, and the anticipation of both the frontlines and the home front.
