Southern Morocco Tourism Master Plan

Guelmim province, situated in southwestern Morocco, is nestled within the Anti-Atlas mountain range. This range stretches approximately 500 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean to the northeast, bordering the Sahara Desert to the south. The Anti-Atlas is characterized by deep fissures and peaks reaching altitudes of 2,500 to 2,700 meters. To the north lies a plateau, while to the south, the landscape transitions into the Sahara highlands. In 2025, we presented a comprehensive tourism master plan for the Guelmim region to the Moroccan government.
